The Lowell Youth Leadership Program serves youth 10 - 16 years of age. It is a free program with meals and transportation provided to/from Greater Lowell Technical High School. The program typically runs 4 weeks from end of June through first 3 weeks in July. (no camp 4th & 5th) Program runs: 7:30 am - 1pm daily. Bus stops and times are to be determined. Typical bus pick-up is 7am.
LYLP campers will be enriched with activities that develop their physical, emotional, and social aspects to create better leaders to their communities. This will include daily swimming, sports such as track and field, volleyball, golf, and basketball. LYLP campers will also be enriched with art, dance and music. Developing a community service attitude, and leadership skills will be emphasized across all activities. These programs will be taught by volunteers, trained counselors, and paid employees
Staff & volunteers will be trained, pass background checks, and supervised at all times. On-site nurse.
Free bus rides to camp each day from neighborhood bus stops to Greater Lowell Technical High School. Pick-up is at 7am. Drop-off is at 2pm.
Free breakfast and lunch for each day including a pizza day and two cookouts!
